His family is rooted in the entertainment industry. His mother, Minister Shirlie Scoggins Sullivan, directed a choir which included members of the GAP Band and actress Alfre Woodard, and his first cousins, The World Famous Tony Williams and Superstar, Kanye West, all proudly watch as Dr. Scoggins uses his gifted voice as a ministry.
